Beckham loved seeing his "Uncle Jake". It was wonderful seeing them connect and picking up right were they left off. Beckham told Jake how his dog Diesel missed his friends; so Jake had to show Beckham Nanee and Paw-Paw's dogs Maui, Sam, and Rup. Beckham told Jake about his house "Jen-ya" (aka: Virginia) and we gave him a virtual tour. After their great converstaion they sealed it with a high five and a kiss.

Beckham has done so well with the move. He has his moments where he asks where everyone is at, but overall he has done better than expected.
One of my main goals after the move was for Beckham to be fully potty trained. He does good for a while and then stops. I am hoping since I am home with him full time now we can work on getting out of the pull ups. He has been wearing big boy underwear during the day and pull ups at night. He does so good when he is in the mood for it, but today was not the day.
He refused to put on his big boy pants and insisted that he was wearing "pull up for-eber". I very calmly replied, "Beckham pull ups are for babies. You are not a baby any more you are a big boy now." Hoping he would change his mind he then replied "but mommy you say I am your baby for-eber and always."
Taking back by his sweet comment I gave him a big hug and a kiss. "Beckham just, because you don't wear pull ups anymore does'nt mean that your not my baby. Each day you will continue to grow bigger and bigger. The more you grow the more and more my love grows for you. Beckham you will always be my baby, but you can be my big boy too!"
"O-tay mommy" he replied "maybe tomorrow I be big today I am wittle... I haven't had my lunch yet."

This is what works with Heidi: It's big girl panties time or nap time (diaper). She gets to pick. :) Sometimes she will pick naptime when she isn't tired, but it never lasts longer than two books. Then she puts on big girl panties and comes downstairs.
